Mission

The Recovery Connection provides a safe and welcoming place within the community where individuals can obtain peer support from others who are also in recovery. Various activities and member-driven services are planned and put into place for the peers, by the peers. Our main purpose is to help people to lead valued and fulfilled lives free from all forms of addiction within a judgment-free zone.

History

The Recovery Connection was established in the fall of 2008 under a contract from the Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS).  The contract was awarded to Spectrum Health Systems, Inc.

Membership

Members have full use of the facilities including use of computers. To become a member, you must fill out a membership application which includes agreeing to upholding the Code of Ethics. Members are expected to participate in maintaining the facility and supporting a safe environment at the facility.

Population Served

 Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering creates opportunities for individuals to help others and give back to the recovery community. For many, this becomes a key to sustaining their own recovery. It also gives members a voice in designing activities that address their needs and interests.

At The Recovery Connection, volunteers can uncover hidden talents, enhance job skills and build resumes.
